Earlier this year, Michelle Kucharski, a Lufthansa colleague and very dear friend, lost her fight against Pancreatic Cancer. I am participating in an event for the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network, a non-profit organization working to advance research, support patients and create hope for those affected by pancreatic cancer.
